| Over the weekend of 3rd and 4th October the Somerset Railway Modellers Club was invited to show some of its layouts in the Beach Hotel opposite Minehead Station in conjunction with the West Somerset Railway Autumn Steam Gala. It proved to be a busy and successful two days with asteady stream of gala passengers and general public coming in to see the layouts, displays, demonstrations and trade stands. There was a relaxed atmosphere as people chatted about model trains between rides on the full sized ones! | |
